TITLE: Electrical (Construction) Apprenticeship Program
TERM: Five (5) Years
TRAINING: On-The-Job Training – Minimum 8000 Hours
Paid Related Instruction – Minimum 720 hours attending Paid Related Instruction. Classes are attended one full day (eight hours) every week for the first two semesters, and one full day (eight hours) every two weeks (2) for the remaining six semesters during the school year.
Unpaid Related Instruction – Apprentices are required to attend a minimum of 200 hours of class instruction as designated by the Committee, on their own time. This is usually accomplished in a night school setting.
WAGES: The Electrical (Construction) Apprenticeship Program is divided into six (6) pay periods. The wage at each level is a designated percentage of the Journey worker Electrician’s Base Wage Rate. Advancement to each subsequent level is determined by successful completion of hours and training acquired.

COMPLETION: Upon completion of the Northeast Wisconsin Area Electrical (Construction) Apprenticeship Program, apprentices are advanced to Journey worker Electrician status.
COMMITTEE JURISDICTION: Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Oconto Counties; all of Manitowoc County except the township of Schleswig; In Marinette County, the Townships of Amberg, Athelstane, Beaver, Grover, Lake, Middle Inlet, Peshtigo, Porterfield, Pound, Silver Cliff, Stephenson, Wagner, and Wausaukee; Menominee County that portion east of a line six miles west of the west boundary of Oconto County; in Shawano County, the Townships of Birnamwood, Richmond, Pella, Almon, Wescott, Belle Plain, Bartelme, Washington, Waukechon, Red Springs, Green Valley, Hartland, Wittenberg, Germania, Angelica, Morris, Fairbanks, Navarino, Seneca, Grant, Lessor, Herman, and Maple Grove; and the Townships of Menominee, Melon, and Ingallston in Menominee County in the State of Michigan.
